Don’t forget to study for the test on February 28! The test contains 26 Multiple Choice Questions, 9 Matching questions—in this section you will be required to label groups from the periodic table as metals, nonmetals, metalloids, or diatomic molecules, and finally there is another 15 matching questions—in this section I will give you the use of an element and you will match it to the element.
This is an open book-open notes test, so please be sure to bring your materials to class with you.
Don’t forget, the end of the 9 weeks is almost here! Get your make up work, late work, and any extra credit assignments in before next Friday!

For 30 points of extra credit-
- Take a few pieces of mentos breath mints—do not buy the candy coated ones—buy the old fashioned regualar minty type ones—then, drop them into a 2 liter bottle of diet coke.
- Take a picture of what happens—you will need to be quick with the camera—using a friend to help you would not be a bad idea.
- Attach the picture to a paragraph that you write about the experiment.
- The paragraph should contain
- Exactly what you did step by step.
- The results of what happened.
- BE SURE TO DO THIS EXPERIMENT OUTDOORS.
